If you are presently house hunting, then it's no suprise to you that finding a new home can be an overwhelming task. Amy Houston with Signature Properties made the process an enjoyable and memorable moment in our lives, however, turning what could have been an uphill marathon into a pleasant jog on the beach.

As a recent graduate from the Medical College of Georgia's Physician Assistant program, I had been interviewing all over the southeast for job positions, which in itself can be stressfull. When I was asked to join Southeast Georgia Hematology/Oncology Associates in Brunswick, I was overjoyed and my husband and I were excited about the many changes to come in our life. Then came the tidal wave...we had to sale and move out of our home in North Augusta, SC, relocate Erik's business, find a new church community, and get me situated with a new medical practice all in only one month. And...oh yeah, we had to find somewhere to live in Brunswick as well! A friend of mine who was originally from Brunswick actually recommended Signature Properties and when I e-mailed the company with my information, I was promptly contacted by Amy Houston.

Amy was a delight and was more helpful than words can begin to describe. She emailed Erik and I all of the homes for sale in the area that matched our ideal description and when we sorted through the homes, she sent us more to choose from based on our preferences. We were only able to visit Brunswick twice to look at homes in the one month that we had before we moved, and Amy spent two entire 8 hour days with us looking at home after home. I don't know of many real estate agents that will do such a thing for their clients! She was open to viewing each house with us just as we wanted to view the home...if we wanted a tour, she gave us a tour. If we wanted to quickly walk through and then leave, then she was more than willing to do so. If we wanted details, she gave details. If we wanted to drive by and not even go in after seeing the exterior of the home, she drove by without looking back! All in all, looking for a new home wasn't just a chore with Amy, it was an eventful and enjoyable day. Amy helped us find the perfect home, made making an offer and negotiating with the seller understandable and to our advantage, and even followed up with us after we moved in to make sure everything was what we had expected and had hoped for.

I would recommend Signature Properties and especially Amy Houston to any individual wanting to enjoy the house hunting process.
