Phoebe was born in Sylacauga, Alabama and around age six moved to Marietta (Atlanta).  Phoebe is a second-generation REALTOR® with over 30 years in the business of helping people buy and sell real estate.  Currently, she is a co-owner of Signature Properties Group, Inc., which she helped found in Spring of 2003 after leaving Sea Island Properties.  Signature Properties Group is committed to three goals:

Relocating from Atlanta to Saint Simons Island in the mid-90's, Phoebe continues to be one of the top producers in the Golden Isles, but is enjoying the slower pace of life in Coastal Georgia and an improved balance between her personal  and her professional life.  Phoebe she works as a team with her husband, Gene, her son, Jon Bramlett and Jon's wife Amy, under the name "TeamHoaster".   

“We moved to Saint Simons Island twelve years ago… Gene grew up on Saint Simons and we were excited at the chance to live on the Georgia Coast.  Gene and I have been married for 25 years – it’s been great, he’s my best friend, funny man, loves to laugh… full of life, kind, tender hearted.  I’ve been truly Blessed.”

As a former Owner and Managing Broker of a RE/MAX office in Marietta, Georgia, Phoebe is no stranger to the demands of a busy, high-profile real estate office, only this time, she is happy to pass on the Managing Broker responsibilities to focus on what she does and enjoys best: helping people with all their real estate needs.

In the early 90's, Phoebe ranked among the Top 1% of all REALTORS® in the country for five consecutive years. 

“I’ve been in Real Estate since 1977 and I have seen interest rates as high as 18% - arms with negative amortization, you name it I’ve seen it…. I remember we would sell FHA & VA Loan Assumptions, but that’s been awhile! My first job was with the Jack W. Boone Company; I was trained by Jack.  Then I went to work with Coldwell Banker & trained with John Barnes and Marilyn Glasser.  Over the years I’ve been to Floyd Wickman “Sweathogs” three times, Tommy Hopkins, Zig Ziglar… loved it!  I’d pull my son, Jon, out of school to see various motivational speakers, Lou Holtz, spots figures, etc… I am a sponge for information and  inspiration. I’m very spiritual and believe we receive synergy from others who share their gifts with us.”

When she's not working with clients, spending time with her family or involved with her church,  Phoebe enjoys painting, sculpting and traveling... especially to Africa! 

“I’m very active with Saint Simons Community Church, and involved with the Mission Trips.  I have been blessed to join our Mission Team on trips to Africa, Haiti, Nicaragua, and closer to home Biloxi, Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina.  We are also very devoted to the Relay for Life event and this year our office raised $16,000 for the American Cancer Society." 

Phoebe and Gene reside on the Island with their dogs, Mulligan and Birdie.  The Hoasters have four children and eight grand-children in whom they take great pride and joy. 

“My hobbies are gardening and photography.  I love repotting plants and the thrill of a reblooming orchid!  I am a self-taught photographer; it started with my son and has continued on with homes, flowers, nature, grandchildren… you name it and I’ve taken a picture of it!  My grandchildren affectionately call me Flash Grandma.  Photos of African animals cover the walls in my office; a huge photo of the Avenue of the Live-Oaks hangs in our reception area.  We are all so Blessed to live on Saint Simons Island!  I’m not happy unless I am juggling listings & sales, friends, family, and I am a grandmother of 8 so needless to say I stay busy.  I love helping people realize their Dream… that’s what it’s all about!

When not working in real estate, Gene can usually be found on the golf course.   

Jon is originally from Marietta, Georgia and moved to the Golden Isles in 1995 in order to get out of the fast paced city life and into the slower paced Island life.

In 1998 Jon decided to go back to school in Gainesville, Florida with his now wife Amy K. Houston (Bramlett): attending Santa Fe Community College then the University of Florida where he majored in Criminology/ Pre-Law. 

As a third generation real estate agent, Jon is excited to be home working along side his mother, Phoebe Hoaster, and step-father, Gene Hoaster, doing what seems to come to him naturally, working with both buyers and sellers and helping them realize their real estate goals. 

He takes great pride in providing excellent customer service to his clients throughout and after the real estate transaction. He strives to make the process of buying and/or selling homes as easy as possible by being mindful of each individual´s needs, wants, and expectations.

Jon enjoys spending time with the love of his life, his wife, Amy; and with their 2 dogs, 2 cats and pet rabbit. When Jon is not out working with clients, he & his wife enjoy traveling, scuba diving, snow skiing, and working around their home.

Having traveled extensively in the summer of 2000 to such countries as Greece, Spain, Norway, Russia, The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Egypt, and Israel,  he learned a great deal about people, the world and the different cultures and customs outside of the United States.  It was a great learning and growing experience.
